Peter Harris

PHA - Chairman & Acquisition Consultant

• Peter established PHA in 1996, with son Martin joining in 1997. PHA became a limited company in 1999.
• PHA was set up to meet the needs of Orange’s Acquisition Department in London where it was felt that my selling background might prove helpful.
• Peter has personally acquired a large number of sites each year and also been involved in resolution of some specific problem sites/areas.
• Although the vast majority of the time has been on site acquisition, I have also completed a major project for PHA as a Consultant as interim manager for Hutchison Telecom when they won the 3G licence.  My areas of responsibility were setting up a rollout programme, recruiting 800 staff for all departments of the new organisation and representing H3G at the FEI(MOA) at the time of the Stewart Report.

RECRUITMENT - MANAGING DIRECTOR

• Established a new recruitment company to recruit staff for telecoms companies in the UK. Larger clients included Orange & Alcatel. 
• The company was very successful and recruited 50+ people for Orange and set up and recruited for the first Graduate scheme.

TELECOMS - SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Peter was head hunted by the then MD to set up a Major Account operation for Hutchison Telecom, but on arrival was given the brief to manage the Sales & Marketing Department of the new Microtel set up until full time appointments of two new directors could be made.

Office Equipment Industry

Peter spent 20 years in the office equipment industry. Initially he was a sales executive for Xerox and was their most successful sales person over a five year period. Peter then moved into management assumed senior sales, marketing and general management roles with Xerox, Nashua, Rich and Oce.
