Interim Management

Interim Management

When Hutchison 3G (UK) Limited acquired the licence to build a new 3G network in the UK, PHA were asked to second Peter Harris for a six month contract to help set up the new company.

As the only staff employed then were technical and financial to help with the bid process, Peter was asked to commence the recruitment of 800 personnel, establish a clear site acquisition strategy and get directly involved with both government and industry bodies.

As part of his role, Peter was asked to be Hutchison’s representative to the MOA (formerly the FEI). This role was at the time when the first Stewart Report into the effect of mobile phones and base stations on health had been released and Peter was heavily involved in agreeing the industry’s response and with finalising the “10 Commitments”.
